I’m David Smith. I run a one-person horror studio – visual art, music, and animation, all under one roof. If you’re making something dark, weird, or genre-bent and you want it to feel right, this is the place.
Most clients hire one of two pillars below. The rare ones hire both, which is where it gets interesting – original score with matching cover art and visuals, made by the same person in the same world.

Indie horror filmmaker with a script and limited budget?
Bundle deals for short films and music projects — score + key art + title sequence + sound design, all from one person with one creative vision. No coordinating four contractors who don’t talk to each other.
Most indie horror shorts: $2,000–5,000 all-in.
HOW IT WORKS
- 50% upfront, 50% on delivery
- Two rounds of revisions included; additional revisions billed hourly
- I retain the right to share finished work in my portfolio
- I work in horror, metal, dark comedy, weird fiction, and adjacent genres. I don’t take crypto/NFT projects, AI cleanup work, or anything I don’t believe in creatively
